Escape room is very popular puzzle game. Because the activity offers the real life experience, it puts players under the time pressure and incorporates teamwork. Under the current circumstance, virtual escape room can keep people entertained and socialised.

This tool can be incorporated into the classroom as formative assessment such as recap previous lessons or exit slips. Time pressure and group competition can foster collaborative learning. Moreover, multimodality (videos, images) incorporated in the questions is also an effective way for teachers to encounter extended contents.
